All ministries will present their proposals on budget cuts.According to the Constitution, the Georgian government cannot raise taxes without a referendum.

A protest demonstration was held in Tbilisi today, calling for the resignation of the Georgian government due to the sharp depreciation of the national currency, the lari.  The rally took place at the Tbilisi Marriot hotel, where Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili met with the representatives of the private sector of the Georgian economy.

A system of obtaining electronic visas has been introduced in Georgia, the Georgian government said.  Using the new system, tourists and business people entering the country from abroad will be able to obtain a visa by applying online at www.evisa.gov.ge.  A ready electronic visa will be sent to the email address of the recipient.
